AFTER 24 HOURS, TY 02W STEERING IS INFLUENCED BY TWO SYNOPTIC FEATURES, AN EXTENSION OF THE SUBTROPICAL RIDGE OVER THE SOUTH CHINA SEA, AND A WEAKNESS IN THE SUBTROPICAL RIDGE NORTHEAST OF LUZON.
